Caldervale Technology Limited WEEE Policy Statement

CTL will work with its customers to find the most environmentally friendly and mutually beneficial method of dealing with the Waste EEE originally produced by the Company. Wherever possible the repair and refurbishment of such products will be promoted to maximise the life cycle of each item.

Irrespective of any alternative contractual arrangements made, the Company acknowledges that it has a default obligation under the WEEE Regulations 2006 to finance the costs of collection, treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal of the WEEE for which it has responsibility.

CTL undertakes to report evidence to the appropriate Environment Agency via VALPAK, its chosen, registered, Producer Compliance Scheme, to show that it has complied with the WEEE Regulations.

This Policy Statement will be reviewed at biennial Management Review Meetings held in compliance with the Company’s certified BS EN ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Manage-ment System.
